The honest position

Panel-van conversions have absorbed most of the market's growth for a decade, and the reason is banal: they fit on a driveway and in a standard parking bay. The compromise is volume. You are trading a fixed bed and a separate shower for a vehicle you can drive daily. Conversion quality varies more widely here than in any other category, so the converter matters at least as much as the base vehicle.

Best suited to: weekends, couples, drivers who want one vehicle rather than two.
